I decided to hit the road the day after Thanksgiving. I didn’t know where I was going until I got into my car and looked at a map. What I did know is that I needed some solitude in a big way. Lately I’ve been having thoughts and strong urges to be in the desert... I ended up driving towards Arizona where while driving I noticed a beautiful mountain rock formation to my right and decided to take the next exit and find a way to get to it..
I found my location, Saddle Mountain not until 4pm, I quickly got my gear out and started snapping away.. I brought my Canon DSLR and my Toyo 4x5.
The next day, unfortunately my last day, I got to do a little exploring and almost walked into this little critter... I call him cuddly bear.
